Showing our pride at the Acton-Westford pride festival
The Acton-Westford pride festival was this past Saturday, June 27 at Nara Park in Acton. For the third year in a row, a group of Good Shepherd parishioners set up a tent and coordinated a rock painting activity and offered lots and lots of colorful swag to hand out. The tent was busy all day long with members of the community (including State Senator Jamie Eldridge!) stopping by to say hello, paint a rock, or pick out fun, pride-themed stickers, flags, bandanas, fans, and more. Thanks to Bev for shepherding people and supplies to make this a wonderful event. If you’re interested in helping out next year, let us know.
