Children and Families

We welcome families of all ages and kinds at Good Shepherd. Our offerings adjust from time to time to provide a variety of ways to engage, learn, pray and have fun together.

A special worship space in our church for our youngest friends and their families. Filled with toys, coloring pages and cozy places to sit, this space invites young children to worship along with the rest of the congregation in a space designed just for them where they can see and hear.

Held monthly on Friday afternoons during the school year for kids ages 3 - 6. This is a fun, interactive program for kids to pray, make a fun craft and learn about God's love for them.

Programming ranges from Confirmation Classes to mission projects. There are regular opportunities for youth to serve as readers, ushers, acolytes and musicians.

We love doing things together across generations. Recent examples include mission trips to El Salvador, packing meals with Rise Against Hunger, volunteering at Household Goods here in Acton, coordinating donation drives for the Acton Food Pantry and local families.
