Church Shepherds

There are many opportunities for members of Church of the Good Shepherd to be involved sharing their time and talent. These "church shepherds" are a valuable part of our life together as they seek to provide a variety of ministries that serve our congregation and the larger community both near and far.
Please contact us if you would like to join any of these committees.

newcomers committee

Members of the Newcomers Committee welcome anyone new to or visiting the church. We try to foster a warm introduction to the church by connecting visitors with various aspects of our community. We check in periodically to invite new members to parish events and try to help them incorporate into the life of the parish.

Building committee

These shepherds help out when our aging building needs some repair. We help out with a variety of repairs and upkeep from simple painting to more complicated projects. Currently we are not meeting as a committee, just on an as-needed basis. Most recently, we helped to rehab our rectory in preparation for our Interim Priest.

Communications committee

Good Shepherd is a very involved and active church, so keeping everyone informed in crucial. To this end we try to use as many available methods as possible, including a seasonal newsletter, email, Facebook, and newspapers.

Worshipping together as a community holds a great of meaning for us as a shared. spirit-filled meal. We like to participate as much as possible in our shared experience, including members of all ages through these liturgical ministries.
