Becoming Hope: Faith Conversations for an Uncertain Time

  • Church of the Good Shepherd 164 Newtown Road Acton, MA, 01720 United States (map)

For five Sundays in Lent, beginning March 16th, you are invited to join us from 11:30am—12:30pm for coffee and discussion inspired by the book, Refugia Faith: Seeking Hidden Shelters, Ordinary Wonders, and the Healing of the Earth (Debra Reinstra, 2023).* Refugia Faith focuses on Christian theology in relation to the Earth and to climate; however, in this time of uncertainty, we believe that the book will help us address a variety of topics on the hearts and minds of parishioners. No one is required to read the book, though you are welcome to do so. Rather, we will take inspiration from the themes in Refugia Faith to help frame our shared reflections about how to be people of faith in these changing times. All are welcome to participate! (*Come find out about the biological concept of “refugia.”)
