EXPLORING THE SCRIPTURES

We will be holding our June Bible Study on Zoom on Wednesday June 22 from 7:30 – 9:00pm.

Topic: This month we are going to look at The Book of Ruth, one of the short books of the bible. It describes how Ruth, the daughter of the king of Moab (a pagan and worshipper of Chemosh), became the great grandmother of David through her loyalty and care for her mother-in-law. It is the antidote to all mother-in-law stereotypes and a window into the practice of gleaning in biblical times as well as being an interesting story. Come and join us as we see what Ruth has to teach us today.
