EXPLORING THE SCRIPTURES

We will be holding our March Bible Study on Zoom on Wednesday March 16 from 7:30 – 9:00pm.

Topic: The Sermon on the Mount comes near the beginning of both Luke and Matthew. It lays out the values that Jesus expands on in his ministry and yet these “beatitudes” can be hard to understand and even harder to follow in our modern world. This month we will discuss them, picking our favorites and trying to better understand the more puzzling ones so that when they come around again, perhaps we will be better equipped to find meaning and inspiration in them.

Readings: Matthew 5:1-12; Luke 6:12, 17-26

Each session is a stand-alone meeting so join us for whatever sessions you can fit into your schedule. All are welcome!
