EXPLORING THE SCRIPTURES

Topic : We will be meeting the third week of Easter and looking at Luke’s familiar story of Jesus’s appearance on the road to Emmaus. Questions we will consider:  How did Jesus reveal himself to the two travelers? Why did the travelers not recognize him? Why is Luke the only Gospel writer to include this story? Would we react in the same manner if we met Jesus today?
