EXPLORING THE SCRIPTURES

This month we celebrate the Feast of the Conversion of St Paul and this will be the topic for our bible study this month. Paul experienced a vision from God that upended all his beliefs as an orthodox Jew and changed his life forever.  What does this experience say to us today as we slog through this never-ending pandemic into the New Year? Have we experienced life-changing, personal revelations? Where are the thin places in our lives, (as the Irish call them) where a little of the divine shines through? How do we validate such spiritual experiences and keep ourselves open to hearing God speak to us during these challenging times?

 Readings: Acts 9:1-22; Acts 26:9-23; Galatians 1:11-24; 2 Corinthians 12:1-10
